Closure / Evaluation:
- To close the lesson, hand out sea turtle handout and have students write each human threat discussed on a different scale on turtle's shell
- Then students may draw and color a picture to represent each threat
- Collect handouts
- As students begin to finish, hand out a sticky note to each student
- Ask that they write one thing that they learned today from our lesson and to place it under the L column on the KWL chart
- In our next lesson, we will discuss solutions as to how we can help preserve and protect endangered sea turtles
